Casa Coquina – The Journey

Anna & Mark set out on the build journey in November 2020 after purchasing the land at 720 Gulf Blvd during the covid pandemic. Later the city changed the address to 719 Beach Trail after denying owners access to the property via Gulf Blvd. A re-design of the property had to be made to access from Beach Trail.
The build was far from easy, with numerous delays mainly due to lack of builder management. In December 2022 owners decided to switch builders in order to complete the project in time for 2023 Holiday season.
The build was finally completed with a CO issued in August 2023.
First guests arrived November 2nd 2023, and Casa Coquina is now at an astonishing 85% occupancy rate for 2024.

Owner’s Design
Anna & Mark designed the layout and overall look of the property to maximize guest experience and take full advantage of the lot location. The building sits right at the max height and size allowed. Many battles were fought to get the rooftop deck, railings and surface to comply with building codes yet be functional for guests.
The final product is an amazing ocean view property where guests can gather and celebrate special events and create amazing memories.
In the end, it was for sure all worth in and we would do it again 🙂
